I am in love with this Carried Away designer series paper that’s in the SAB brochure! I can’t seem to get enough of it. I’ve already gone through an entire package of it. But no worries I have two more packages here waiting for more projects:) The color combination – Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, Peekaboo Peach, Smoky Slate and Watermelon Wonder – in this paper pack is so fun and is helping me use colors I don’t use often like Night of Navy and Watermelon Wonder! It also helps that it has a cute new set – Lift Me Up – that coordinates with it!
The calendar (link below) is one that we as Paper Pumpkin subscribers received as a download. It’s the perfect fit for a standard size project 4-1/4″x5-1/2″. I simply stamped the month across the number to add a bit of contrast. The months are from the Project Life Date It stamp set (#141563).
I’ve filmed a quick video showing how this all goes together. It includes dimensions and I’ve attached a list of supplies in the description of the video but if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
I had mentioned that I’ve used a whole package of the paper – here’s another project using them.
These are the travelers journals for my 2017 Treasuredori set up. I will be sharing how I’m using them and a bit more information on planning and planners at my upcoming Planner Class (details below). Here’s a look at my 2017 planner stack!
Is it incredibly geeky to be so excited about using paper planners? I’ve always been a pen to paper girl but even more so now. I love notebooks/planners and the freedom they allow to be creative! Just another creative hobby for this paper craft loving girl! Here are the details on the upcoming class…
Before I forget – I have a friend – who’s a menu planner – coming to share a bit about planning for leftovers! The information that she has to share is awesome and I think something we can all benefit from!
Planner Class
Tuesday January 17th at 7pm
Planning with paper and pen has been around for years. With the rise in popularity of technology, you’d think it would be a dying craft. You may be surprised to learn that the planner community and the love of paper planners is becoming more popular and a current rising trend! If you are curious about the types of planners, what all the hype is and/or how you can use a planner to stay organized, I’d love for you to join me at my upcoming class.
Class fee of $15 includes an abundance of information on types, styles and how to use planners, two make and takes and a brief talk from my friend Stacy on menu planning.
If you own a planner(s), please bring it along with adhesive (available to purchase in class if needed) and scissors to class.
Payment and registration is due by January 13th.
Have a creative day!
Sherry
