Good Monday morning! I hope you had a great weekend. Our last weekend of relaxation was great, we went to my parents place for dinner to celebrate my uncles birthday and otherwise pretty much stayed close to home. I actually had lots of crafting time which I loved. I got a few things checked off my to do list – one of them was making a winter wreath. I love how it turned out! I was inspired by the spring wreath in the Occasions catalogue but wanted to use the snowflakes from the Festive Flurry snowflake kit that was available before Christmas. I’ve got to say the picture just doesn’t do it justice! It looks much better in person.
I think in total it might have taken 45 minutes to make! Because the snowflakes are all precut and scored, it really came together quickly! It did use almost a whole role of burlap ribbon though…
The Let it Snow banner was cut using my Silhouette Cameo and then I tucked some silver glimmer paper and white cardstock behind the words.
If anyone is interested, I can make up a few kits that would include everything (except the hot glue) you need to make one, I would just need to order in the ribbon. Cost would be $30 + shipping if required. If you are interested just let me know and I will get an order in for the ribbon.
Have a creative day!
Sherry
