One of my favorite things to do when it comes to memory keeping is to create Project Life/Traditional combination layouts. So one side will use a pocket page protector and the other will be a 12×12 layout. The most recent layout was done using scraps of patterned paper from the It’s My Party paper stack and will be used for my daughter’s upcoming 17th birthday. I love the banner strips down the side – great use of scraps!
And here’s the pocket page. Simple but it’s done and ready for photos. In my attempt to keep up with documenting our lives in 2016, I’m going to do a two page spread like this in advance for any larger event that we have coming up. Anything where I normally take lots of photos. That way I can just print and insert and the layout is already done! If the colors don’t happen to match, I will just print them in black and white:)
Here are a couple close ups…
I love these party pop up framelits. Perfect for the inside of a card, but a great title for a layout as well:)
Remember the challenge I gave myself to use up 1/4 package of the It’s My Party dsp? Well I’m happy to say I only have a few scraps left and here’s a list of what I managed to create:
- 28 cards
- 1 pocket page layout
- 2 traditional layouts
- 1 envelope
- lots of decorated envelope flaps
- 2 party hats
- 2 gift bags
- 3 rosettes
- 1 cake topper
Imagine what you could create using a whole package of this dsp?!
Have a creative day!
