Do you love to be stretched when it comes to your creativity? I’m all for a little challenge. I often give myself little challenges that push me creatively. It could be using a colour I never use or am not a fan of, creating a certain number of projects or trying a new technique or fold. I think challenging yourself is good. This occasions catalogue has certainly stretched me creatively. It’s not that I don’t like what’s inside it’s just that it’s not my usual style.
When I initially saw the Myths and Magic suite, I seriously loved it. But my kids are older and I don’t have much of a need for this type of a set. HOWEVER, I quickly realized I was wrong. We have other littles in our lives, but many of these images can be used for any age. Who doesn’t believe in a little magic?! Unicorns, mermaids and wizards are so popular. And I have hopes of creating several scrapbook layouts using this sweet bundle. Have you seen the dsp?! It is AMAZING! One side is glittery and the other side is something that is a bit more generic and geometrical. It can seriously be used for so many things.
Today’s card is one of my creations using this fabulous suite. I colored the wizard with Stampin’ Blends and I love how vibrant the colors are. I so do love those markers! I’ve included a full list of supplies at the bottom of this post if you’re wondering about any of the products. And don’t forget about this gorgeous mermaid card I shared a few weeks ago.
Did you know that you can pick up this entire suite and more as part of your customizable starter kit?! For just $135 (no shipping and no GST) you can pick $165 worth of product AND choose 2 additional free stamp sets of any value. And there’s no obligation! It seriously is the BEST time to join the Stampin’ Up! family and I’d love to have you join my Canadian team.
Have a creative day!
