Today I’m sharing a couple adorable Hippest Hippos card ideas with you. The Hippest Hippo stamp set and Hippo dies are both part of the Sale-a-Bration offering for July and August and they are SWEET! For this first card, I used our masking paper to create the border. I love how it adds to the background without being too much.
Measurements:
- Flirty Flamingo: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for flowers
- Basic Black: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″ ; 2nd smallest circle from Stylish Shapes dies and scrap for stamping
- Vellum: 4th smallest circle from Stylish Shapes dies
- White Twine: about 12″
- Heart Pearls: x3
This second card is super fun and definitely showcases how fabulous the Hippo Dies are! You can create such fun hippos with the addition of these dies.
Measurements:
- Pool Party: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for splashes
- Basic Black: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″; 4″ x 5-1/4″ (inside) and scraps for stamping
- Old Olive: scrap for die cutting grass
- Bermuda Bay: scrap for die cutting scuba gear
- White Bakers Twine: 6″
