I’m so excited to share with you my December Daily or Hello December album that I created using Stampin’ Up!’s Hello December card collection and accessory kit. The Hello December accessory kit is AMAZING, just sayin’. I think the cover is my favorite part but I’m sure that will only be until I have photos to add:)
I’m not going to share every page with you but I have a fair number that I will share. Keep in mind, without photos it doesn’t look like much. And this is just the base of the album, as I add photos, I may embellish more and make some changes. However, it’s a huge relief to have it done early because it makes documenting December doable for me. Without the bones of the album done, I know that it would be years before December 2014 is documented.
This is the ‘title’ page of the album. I inserted a window sheet and then stamped some snowflakes using white Staz On ink. The card in the centre was embellished using the alphabet stickers that come in the accessory kit.
These are days 2 and 3. You will notice that I didn’t number every page. I may add numbers when I embellish, I may not. I’ll see how it all comes together.
I know that trimming the tree will offer up more photos than a regular day so this is a two page spread and I’ve added a crumb cake envelope there as well. This may get moved to somewhere else, but I tucked it in there for now.
These are days 9 and 10. The half doily is meant to go on top of a photo on page 8. The Hello December accessory kit comes with these fabulous wood accents – like the merry – so fun!
Days 11 and 12 are pretty self explanatory.
Day 16 has a little flap so that you can add extra journaling or more photos.
The bottom card is tucked into the pocket and the top card is attached to it using the washi tape – that comes in the accessory pack.
Day 19 and 20. Check out the shaker pocket – love the overlays that come in the accessory kit AND sequins. I’m telling you the accessory kit is fabulous.
And the last layout that I’m sharing is day 21 and 22. I used a piece of vellum to overlay the number card and then used the star framelit to cut out the shape right where the 21 would be so that it would be a bit more prominent.
The rest of the pages are pretty sparse. That’s when things start getting busy for us and we have a lot of family events so I wasn’t sure how many pages I would need per day. So I simply tucked a few cards in here and there and left it as is.
It feels so good to have the album done and ready to go. If you’d like to have your album done before December arrives, I’m offering a class on November 30th at 1pm where you can complete the album as shown or create your own.
As far as class/kit options I have a few to choose from…
Option 1: Class fee of $70 and includes over $64 of product!
- 6×8 album in either Cherry Cobbler or Espresso
- 1 plus package of assorted page protectors.
- Hello December Project Life Card Kit
- Hello December Project Life Accessory Pack
- All the additional little accessories need to finish the album shown above.
Option 2: If you’d like a to go kit – that option is available as well and would
include everything noted above, including the die cut pieces you need,
however, none of the stamped images will be included. Cost of the kit
to go will be $80 plus shipping and is only available to Canadians.
Option 3: If you already have a demonstrator or are a demonstrator and would like to order your own supplies, I am offering a kit without the core supplies for only $20 + shipping. This would include photos of each of the pages and any special instructions + any of the extra pre-cut supplies and embellishments you need to complete the album, including the cover. I will let you know what you need to have on hand in order to complete the album as is. This option is only available to Canadians as well.
You’ll end up having lots of pieces left over so that you can use them in your regular PL album. And many of the cards are not holiday themed so you can use them any time of the year! Please note that the Hello December PL products are only available while
supplies last so I will be taking requests for any of the above options
only until November 6th or while supplies are available.
If you are in the Edmonton, Sherwood Park or surrounding areas and would like to attend the class, I’d love to have you join us!
Have a creative day!
Sherry
