Handmade Napkins & Cutlery Holder - Stamped Treasures, Sherry Roth, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Good morning! I hope you have some fabulous plans for New Years. We have a few things to do around the house and then plan on heading to Broadmore Lake for the Sherwood Park New Years Eve celebrations. I’m so happy that we have some nice weather for the next few days!

Todays project is something that I made a while ago and was inspired by a project that Meg Wheeler demo’d at Convention last summer. I have to show you because the product is only available for a couple more days.

These were made using these two products (and a few others):

Candlelight Christmas Fabric (126905)

I started by making the envelopes – I decided to just use the two fabrics for the envelopes – the red and green. They measure about 12″ square. I’m not much of a seemstress so I kept it really simply. I started with about 12-1/2″ square and then folded in a seem and stitched. There is no lining and they are single sided. But really what does it matter – you’re going to just wipe your face on them right:)

The pockets are made using the Very Vanilla die cut card liners wich have this beautiful scalloped edge and are already scored. So I just folded it in half and then ran it through the big shot using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Then glued across the bottom and up the right side (the fold is on the left). I think the rest is pretty straight forward.

We actually didn’t use these this year – I made them to use next year when we are in our new house. I have so many things that I have been making and holding off using or displaying until we move – hopefully soon!
