Today I’m sharing a Gingerbread & Peppermint mini slimline card with a subtle background idea. For this project I used the gingerbread dies but you could use any dies. The more detailed the prettier it looks.
I backed some red card stock with adhesive sheet and then die cut several of the detailed star dies. The adhesive sheet turns the die cut pieces into stickers which makes them quick & easy to adhere and there’s no mess. Be sure to check out the video linked below to see how I used some of the excess pieces.
This card is an unusual size – it’s called a mini slimline card. Folded it measures 3-1/4″ x 6-1/4″. It’s a really fun size to work with – a little longer and narrower than a standard sized card but smaller than a slimline.
This is only the 2nd time I’ve created a card this size, the first one was a fun fold I created for my Peaceful Cabin card class. The tutorial is available to purchase if you’re interested, you can find it here.
Now back to todays project…
