Fun Fold Easel Card

I created this fun fold easel birthday card using Stampin’ Up!’s Sailing Home stamp set on todays Facebook live. The Sailing Home stamp set is part of the Come Sail Away suite of products which has a patterned paper pack. I’ve seen so many beautiful samples using the colour combination from the paper pack but not a lot using different colours so decided to step away from those colours and try something different. My colour scheme is Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Grey Granite and Soft Suede.

To create the front panel of the easel card I used a technique called collage stamping. You can find another card I created using this technique here. I wanted to soften the colours just a bit so I added a layer of vellum over top.

It’s always fun to decorate your envelope to match the card that’s inside. So I repeated this collage stamping technique on the envelope flap. How fun is this?!
