I’ll be sharing a few Full of Charm Paper Pumpkin alternatives in today’s blog post. I’ve got 5 projects to share with you today and then I’ll be back on Friday with a scrapbook layout using this kit.
When my kit arrives each month I usually create one of each of the projects to familiarize myself with the contents of the kit. The next project I create is a scrapbook layout, which is what I’ll be sharing on Friday. This year I’ve added in the challenge to use up the rest of the kit contents before the end of the month. It’s been fun!
This months kit includes all the supplies to create 9 beautiful cards (3 each of 3 designs). Here’s a look at them.

Let’s take a look at some alternatives
For this first card I cut apart the larger leaf die cut pieces so that I could create a cluster of leaves around my greeting. I also added in some gold twine (now retired). Adding twine to your projects is such a great way to step up your projects.
I love the die cut floral image in this kit so much that I decided to save it to use on a project I plan on working on this summer. Stay tuned for that:) So I decided to use the floral card base on its own. However, I felt the flowers needed a little something so I took a fine tipped black marker and went around the edges of the flowers and leaves. Then added my greeting, a couple stamped leaves and of course some gold twine.
For this third card, I cut apart one of the card bases and stamped up the left side and bottom. Then added a die cut image, a stamped leaf, a greeting and one of the diamond shapes. I felt that the stamped background needed to be muted a bit so I added a small piece of vellum to soften it.
Then I created a tag that uses the other half of the leftover card base. It’s hard to see but I added a scrap of some embossed vellum to the bottom and then cut apart one of the die cut pieces. This could be added to a card front, a gift bag or attached to a gift.
For this last project I replicated the tag but instead of cutting it into a tag, I added it to the centre of an old olive card base. I’m quite happy with the way these projects came out and even happier with the scrapbook layout that I created. I’ll be back on Friday to share that with you.
Until then,
