Beat the Winter Blues Crop
Kick off the new year at a fun, crafty weekend at the Beat the Winter Blues Crop. This crafty event offers the opportunity to attend as a cropper and/or attend a class (or two). You choose what works best for you!
The crop will be held at the Strathcona County Art Society in Sherwood Park on Saturday January 3rd and 4th, 2026.

Crop runs from 10am to 10pm on Saturday and 10am to 8pm on Sunday.
Optional Classes
Let’s Get Grungy – January 3rd at 1pm
In this class we are going to play with embossing powders and inks and create 3 fun technique focused cards. Your $40 class fee includes $20+ in product, precut supplies and envelopes. Crop attendees pay $30.
Let’s Get Sketchy Scrapbook Class – January 3rd at 3:30pm
In this class I’ll share 3 layouts all inspired by the same sketch and you’ll create a 2-page layout inspired by the same sketch. Cost is $35 ($25 for croppers). Note: tutorial will include photos and measruements for all 3 layouts in case you want to use them for additional inspiration after the class.

The Details
- Deadline to register for the crop and/or optional classes is December 17th, 2025. Or when capacity is reached.
- Accommodation is not included for this crop. However, there are several hotels close by if required.
- You do not need to attend the crop to participate in the optional classes. Register for one or both. Attend in person or get them to go.
- Payment is due at time of registration. Payment guarantees your spot.
- Space is limited.
- Class kits can be shipped anywhere in Canada.
