Good morning! Before I get into the details of today’s layout, I just wanted to let you all know that all orders placed from April 21st to 25th will receive FREE shipping! The timing couldn’t be any better because the retiring list comes out on April 21st! I will be posting the information on my blog on Monday morning and also sending an email out so be sure to watch for it – remember all items are while supplies last.
Now for today’s layout…
Since it’s Easter weekend, I thought I would share with you the Easter layout I did for scrapbook club this month. I plan on putting photos from this weekend in there. Nothing like planning ahead:)
The colors were pulled from the Watercolor Wonder DSP available from the Celebrate the Everyday catalogue. The title was created using the Morning Post Alphabet and then cut with the egg framelit from the Backyard Basics framelit set. I added a little sponging around the edges with smoky slate to make them pop a bit. A 4×6 photo is meant to go in the upper right corner and then two 2-1/2″ square photos on the island indigo and smoky slate banners.
On this page I will put a 4×6 photo in the upper left and then two 2-1/2″ photos on the daffodil and smoky slate banners. The banners were cut using the banner framelit set from the Celebrate the Everyday catalogue.
The basket was created using a bunch of 1/2″x4″ strips of baked brown sugar cardstock that were weaved together. Then I ran them through the big shot using the smallest envelope liner, upside down. I wanted the rounded bottom. Then I just used scissors to trim the edges that jut out. The handle was created by nesting two oval framelits. I love how it turned out.
I hope you have a creative day!
Sherry
