Good morning! As many of you know I have been working on organizing my scrapbook albums – which is turning out to be a much bigger job than anticipated. It has turned into a year long process but I’m ok with that because the end result is going to be fabulous. You can find out more about what I have been doing here. I think I’ve done up to 2007. But what I have been enjoying is going back into the albums that are organized and choosing photos that I know need to be scrapbooked (and now know exactly where they go). So I’ve been scrapbooking some older photos and trying to finish off some of the odds and ends in those albums. Once I have an entire album complete, I will share it with you so you can see how it looks.
Today I have one of those layouts to share with you – and a video that I promised in this post. First here’s the layout – photos are from 2003!
I used the September sketch from the Canadian Scrapbooker website. I didn’t realize they posted monthly sketches! This will definitely be something I participate in every month – I love sketches.
Anyways back to the layout – the video shows you how to create these distressed leaves – it’s amazing how simple it is to get this effect!
