Earlier this week I was searching for some photos to document and came across a bunch of photos from a trip we took back in 2007. Most of the photos have been scrapbooked but this one pile hadn’t. They were all similar photos and I knew I didn’t need to include all of them in the album, there were far too many. These were printed back before I took the time to go through and pick and choose the photos I want to use. Back then I pretty much printed everything, unless it was blurry. I ended up narrowing it down to enough photos to fit the front of this pocket page and a few more at the back. The other thing was that because the previous photos had been scrapbooked, I needed a 12×12 solution for the left side of the page. The thought of a quote came to mind. So I googled quotes about nature and found this one. Then I saw the pile of extra photos on my desk and the large letters framelits that I just received yesterday. LIGHTBULB! (said just like Gru from Despicable Me)
I do love how it turned out! I combined the large letters framelits with the layered letters alphabet and the labeler alphabet (another favorite!).
I could see doing something similar with a cute quote and framing it for a baby’s nursery or child’s room. My love of these large letters framelits has multiplied! So many options.
