Good morning! Sorry for my lack of posting the last couple days. Things have been a bit hectic the last few days preparing for and holding classes. This pace will continue for another couple weeks and then there will be a bit of downtime. I will continue to post as much as I can though – I have so much to share with you:)
Today’s post was a combination PLxSU and traditional scrapbook page layout. Sometimes photos just scream for a little extra something and I thought these were those photos. I love these photos of my daughter and had to do a layout of just them. I chose a few cards from the Playground card collection. The name of this collection is a bit deceptive – there are so many cards in this kit that could be used for anything not just younger children as the name portrays. Another thing to love about the PLxSU collection – their versatility – you really do need them all;)
Because I wanted to add a few more embellishments to dress up the pockets, I chose to use the Flower Patch stamp set and coordinating framelits and repeated the stamped flowers on the traditional layout on the right. Even the words in this set were perfect for the photos. I love it when that happens.
And here’s a closer look at the traditional layout.
