Good morning! I hope you are having a great weekend. Today I have 3 versions of the same card to share with you. The first is a beautiful swap that I received from Annette (I’m sorry I don’t have her last name).
It’s such a simple but stunning card! I knew that I wanted to CASE it but also wanted to put it in the mail without having the bulk that the Soda Pop Tops add to it. So I made a few changes…
Here’s the first one that I did. I switched up the colors to Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant and replaced the soda pop top for a scallop circle. This takes away the bulk on the card. However, I still preferred it with the soda pop top (love those things!).
So I recreated it using a flattened soda pop top – I love it! Did you know that you can flatten the soda pop tops using your big shot? That’s what we learned at stamp club this month. All you need to do is open your multipurpose platform all the way, add a cutting mat and then place your soda pop top face down on the cutting mat, add the other cutting mat to the top and run it through. Works like a charm!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Sherry
