Hope you all had a great weekend! We certainly did, enjoying our last few days off before the regular routine sets back in. You’d never know that I have been playing with all my new goodies by the looks of my blog posts and unfortunately, I still don’t have anything new to show you. Taking and editing photos is on my list of things to do today so you can expect new product samples very soon.
In the meantime, I thought I’d share the second layout from last months scrapbook club. I love how this layout turned out. I used the adorable I Dig You stamp set (CM 122720/WM 122722), it is such a cute set and even though Eathan is past this stage, I still have lots of photos to scrapbook from when he was younger and this set will work well.
There are lots of different elements on this page that I want to share with you. My favourite is the title and how I put it together. I used the scooper image (I’m sorry I’m not up on the proper terminology) and had it scooping the word toys – LOVE IT! So appropriate for a boys toys – they are always everywhere and need to be picked up!
The second thing I want to share is the digger accent. I stamped this several times and then cut out several different pieces so that it could be jointed with mini brads. It actually moves – this would be fabulous on a card!
Lastly, I felt that it still needed something so I turned to the pennant builder punch and added a banner. The crimper adds just a bit of texture to the pennants.
I used a lot of different products on this layout so I won’t list them all but here are the important ones…
- Colours: real red, pacific point, daffodil delight and pumpkin pie
- I Dig You stamp set
- Mini Brads – LOVE THESE!
- Petite pennants builder punch
- Crimper
- Big Shot
- Naturally serif decorative strip die (letters)
If you have any questions about anything else, just leave a comment and I’d be happy to answer them. Thanks for stopping by today!
