I’m so excited about the awesome deals that SU! has released for their Online Extravaganza. Visit my online store to check out the details. One of the bundles I’m most pumped about is the Bling Bundle (120302). It includes:
- Sticky Pages
- Sticky Cuts Sweet
- Fine Supernova Stampin’ Glitter
- Fine Galaxy Stampin’ Glitter
So I thought I’d share a couple projects I made this morning using these products.
This first card uses the Sticky Pages which work wonders in your Big Shot. I wanted to create a glittery ornament so used the Holiday Windows (116821) ornament die from the mini. To use these on their own (without the Movers & Shapers Curly Label die) simply layer as follows: standard cutting mat, holiday window shape, sticky page (or cardstock), standard cutting mat, and impressions pad. The impressions pad just gives it the extra thickness it needs to cut through. Make sure this is on top of the cutting mat though so it doesn’t get marked up. After positioning the ornaments where I wanted them, I sprinkled one with the Aqua glitter and the other with the Pink glitter – both from the Fine Supernova glitter stack. I used the scallop edge punch (112091) – also on sale – to add a decorative touch to the Holiday Lounge dsp (115676). Added some silver cord and some ribbon and stamped my greeting. Very simple card but the glitter makes it stunning!I decided to stray from Christmas for the next card. I used the heart images from the Sticky Cuts Sweet on this card. To add the two colors of glitter, simply peel the backing off one piece at a time. I began with the small heart in the centre, peeled the red backing and sprinkled with glitter. After tapping and brushing off any excess glitter, I removed the backing of the outer heart and covered it with the pink glitter. My card base is the scallop square (115950) – one of my favorite dies right now. Here is a photo of the inside – both the greetings are from the A Happy Heart stamp set (111758).
If you have any questions about either of these projects or anything else, leave a comment and I’d be happy to answer them for you.
Have a wonderful day!
Sherry
