I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Ours was very full with soccer practices on both Saturday & Sunday, a wedding invitation consultation, an open stamp night, stamp club and a husband who worked most of the weekend. Busy, busy!
The project I am sharing today was one of the little favors that Jordyn gave to her friends for coming to her birthday party. I raded by alterables stash and found these notebooks I had picked up at a dollar store quite some time ago. I had more than enough so decided they would be perfect. Ten & eleven year old girls love notebooks!
I used dsp from the Thoroughly Modern (115673) dsp pack. Of course, every girl likes a little bling so I cut the first initial of each guest from chipboard (using the Serif Essentials Alphabet 113464), smeared it with Rose Red craft ink and then covered it with iridescent ice embossing powder. They loved them.
I had a few left so I thought since I had everything out, I would just decorate the rest of them. I will use a couple as door prizes. I did title one of them supplies for me to use. I have a constant list of things I need and just write it on little bits of paper as they come up. I thought if I had a notebook, everything would be contained and it would reduce the scraps and clutter. It’s working great!
Thanks for stopping by!
Sherry
