I’m always in need of birthday cards so when I saw that Stampin’ Up! had come out with a birthday themed project kit, I knew it was going to be on my first order. The cards in this kit should cover a couple months of birthdays! It makes an amazing number of projects: 12 cards (4 each of 3 designs) and 12 gift tags (4 each of 3 designs).
When this arrived in my order mid December, it was actually one of the first products I played with. I thought I’d share a close up of the projects so you can get a better idea.
This birthday shaker card is my favorite from the kit. You end up with so much of this confetti left over, I look forward to making other shaker cards with it!
This was a quick and easy card to whip up. I love the diagonal stripes peeking out from behind.
I also love this card. That cake looks so pretty. I’m looking forward to creating with the cake shaped punched pieces that I have leftover. I was actually surprised how many pieces are left after creating all the projects. I love that even after you’ve finished the kit, you still have pieces left to create with.
I now have a nice selection of birthday gift tags to use. I may end up turning a few of these into cards to use but I will definitely keep some as tags.
Kits really are the best way to create quick and easy projects without requiring a ton of supplies or time. I whipped up all 24 projects in this kit in just a couple hours! Hope you have time to get crafty today!
