For this weeks memory keeping post I’m sharing this autumn leaves tn layout. I had this single photo of me standing in some leaves from Vancouver last year and thought it would work perfectly with products from the all about autumn suite.
One of the things I tried to do was use up a few scraps. Sitting in a pile on my desk was a 6″ x 12″ piece of kraft card stock. So I decided to use that as my base. It felt a bit plain so I stamped it, using crumb cake ink, with the large maple leaf image from the autumn leaves stamp set.
I love the photographic imagery in this patterned paper pack. I used up all the scraps I had of this one particular pattern. Don’t discount those little pieces – they are perfect for die cutting the smaller leaves.
To finish off the layout, I used a copper clay stampin’ write marker to add little trios of dots here and there. It’s a great way to add a little something but still be a bit subtle.
If you love fall crafting, be sure to check out this months Autumn Leaves class to go. There’s still time to register.
Until next time,
