Today’s project (with video) is a card to say hello featuring the fabulous new Alphabest bundle! This was the make & take that I designed for the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival a couple weekends ago.
It uses the Alphabest bundle – one of my top picks from the new catalogue. I always love it when a new alphabet set or dies are released. Those are always the first things that get added to my must have list and this bundle is no exception. I love that it has the coordinating punch which can make it feel more substantial because it is smaller in size.
My intent for this card was to highlight the in colours which I think it does nicely. The card base is a notecard from our notecards and envelopes which made the prep and assembly so easy. I always have a package of notecards and envelopes in my stash. They are a staple for quick & easy cards because they come cut & scored for you. That saves two steps!
The background on this card was created using the splatter image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set. I think this particular stamp is my most used stamp in my collection at the moment. I seem to use it for EVERYTHING lol. After stamping that image a few times in Tahitian Tide, I splattered with my dark Starry Sky Stampin’ Blend.

Until next time,
