In today’s post I’m sharing how to create a fun shaker tag using Stampin’ Up!’s® flip flaps. These flip flaps make creating shaker pockets so easy. You’ll want to create a lots of these once you see just how simple they are to make.

Our flip flaps come in several different sizes – 3″ x 3″ ; 3″ x 4″ ; 4″ x 4″ and 4″ x 6″. You can use any size to create these tags. I’ve chosen to do a 4″ x 6″ tag and a 3″ x 4″ tag.
4″ x 6″ Shaker Tag
Because the flip flaps have a flap that folds over, you can use them to create a pocket for your shaker elements and then fold over the flap and seal it. To pretty things up, I slid a piece of pattern paper into the pocket before adding my shaker elements. Then all of my embellishing is on top of the flip flap.
Measurements:
- 4×6 Flip Flap
- Floral Charm DSP: 4″ x 6″
- Basic White: 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ and 3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- Mossy Meadow: 2-1/8″ x 4-1/4″ for die cutting leaves
- Petal Pink Braided Trim: 5″
- White Twine: 8″
I added a piece of white card stock to the back, slightly larger than the flip flap so there’s something to write on. Here’s a look at the back.
