The Best There Is Project Share

For this weeks memory keeping Monday blog post I’ll be doing a The Best There Is  project share. I’ll be sharing the rest of the projects I’ve made using the May Paper Pumpkin kit and a there are a couple memory keeping projects.

Just after my kit arrived I shared a layout that you can find here and then ended up turning it into a 2-page layout that you can find here. Today we’ll kick it off with a 6″ x 12″ layout I created as a kind of title page for our recent Yellowstone trip.

I had some scraps left from the kit so I decided to use them to create a bit of a patterned background. This same idea was used to create a few cards as well.

I had one single leaf left from the kit and added it to the card. The die cut shape is from the Greetings of the Season dies that will be releasing with some new online exclusives on July 3rd. This is such a great design to use up scraps.

For both these cards the strips are 3/4″ but you could use any size, or even mix up the widths.

The last card I created with this set is this simple thanks card. I love this thanks die from the Thanks & Beyond die set.

Our Unexpected Adventure Layout

The final project I created using The Best there Is Paper Pumpkin kit was this 2-page layout. It documents being snowed in on our trip to Yellowstone.

All the consumables, apart from the wheat and white card stock come from the kit. The tags and tuck ins are cut using the Greetings of the Season dies – cut from the card bases and layers that came in the Paper Pumpkin kit. The Greetings of the Season dies are a must have in my opinion. The wood chip stamp is from the Textured Timber stamp set and the little cluster of dots from the stamp set that came in The Best There Is kit.
