Today I’m sharing a simple Butterfly Brilliance card with you. This is a card that is PERFECT for mass production.
- Want to make a bunch of birthday cards to have on hand? This is the card!
- Need to make some thank you cards to send out? This is the card!
- Maybe you just want to let friends & family know you are thinking of them. This is the card!
This card is a great design for ANY occasion! I used it to create congratulations cards for my team this month. I didn’t have a lot of time, needed a simple design and wanted to try to use what I have on hand.
The Details…
We are in the process of packing up our house and moving. Unfortunately, the timing is such that we will be without a home for 6 weeks so all of our stuff needs to go into storage. I’ve got about 3 weeks left and then I need to pack up my craft room – well what hasn’t already been packed up. I’m on a mission to try to use up as much as I can. Especially if it’s something that I know, or think, might be retiring.
With that in mind, I chose rococo rose as one of my card stock colours. It is one of the 2019-2021 In Colours and therefore will retire this year. I chose to use this fun ribbon that had only a few feet left on the roll. It looks amazing behind the butterfly and I ended up finishing off the spool.
But because I ran out of that ribbon and still had more cards to make, I had to come up with an alternate.
I ended up choosing to layer two ribbons. The silver metallic edge ribbon and gray granite shimmer ribbon. I think it was a great alternate.
The reason I chose to the Butterfly Brilliance bundle for the focal point is because I can stamp and die cut once and get enough butterflies for 6 cards! It is just so efficient.
If you enjoyed this card, be sure to check out this months class in the mail. Today is the last day to register.
