Let’s take a look…
This first card is one of the smaller cards (3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″) and is super simple. I added the 3×4 card to the card base stamped a greeting on some white, die cut my circle and then added a bit of twine. The star is from one of the sticker sheets that come with the card pack. I simply used a daffodil delight Stampin’ Blend to colour it in.
This second card is one of the larger cards (4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″) and another simple one. The striped layer is one of the 4×6 cards. Then to add a bit of dimension, I die cut a couple coordinating circles, stamped a greeting and added some gold bells. The twine and dots finish off the card. Adding layers is an easy way to step up these cards.
And here’s another variation of this same card.
For this next card, I used a 3×4 card but added it onto one of the larger card bases. To add texture, I added a layer of embossed card stock, some twine and a few of the loose snowflakes.
Stepping it up
The next few cards are a bit more elaborate but still not difficult.
To add a bit of dimension and texture to this card, I distressed around the edges of one of the 3″ x 4″ cards and then matted it onto a garden green layer. I wanted to add some additional dimension using the holly die from the Reindeer Fun dies but felt like it would be too much green if I die cut them from the granny apple green or garden green card stock. Instead I took my granny apple green ink pad and dragged it across a piece of white card stock. It give a bit of a softer colour and the added texture of the ink pad lines.
The next two cards were created from one 4″ x 6″ card and require a bit of fussy cutting. I took one of the 4×6 cards and carefully fussy cut the inside border and the deer. The frame was used on the card above and the deer on the card below.
For the card above, I initially just had the gifts on the white background but it needed something more, so I added a bit of ink blending and some stamped snowflakes. I really like how this one turned out!
