Today I’m sharing 4 book treat box ideas. Four different ways to use these fun treat boxes! I had a lot of fun playing around with these.
The first one I shared in this post and uses the boxes as they are intended to be used.
Book Stack
The next idea I had was to create a book stack for my hot chocolate tiered tray. This is my favourite idea!
To create these I cut off the flap, covered them with some of our two-toned card stock (poppy parade, early espresso and white willow). Then before assembling, I stamped the spine. I used a Kerri Bradford alphabet set called Willow Upper. After assembling the books, I distressed the edges and then glued the covers down and then the books to each other. Then finished it off by wrapping some gingham ribbon around it and tied a bow. It looks so great with my homemade s’mores:)
Create a Match Box
The third idea I had was to create a little match box. If you don’t adhere the inside box, it will slide out. You can do this instead of having the book open.
Ornament/Shadow Box
The final idea I had was inspired by a project that one of Stampin’ Up!’s artisan design team shared. That’s to create a Christmas ornament or shadow box by cutting a window in the front. To add a bit of dimension to the contents, I used window sheets.
I shared how to put this one together in the video linked below.
Until next time,
Shopping List
In addition to the supplies listed below, I also used a crop-a-dile.
