Good morning! Today I’ve got another hybrid project to share with you. I’ve been madly making little gifts for teachers, bus drivers and neighbours. This was a fun project to make and so simple. I created it using the calendar function in My Digital Studio. This calendar feature makes it a snap to add calendars to any of your projects, whether it’s a yearly calendar or just a monthly one.
So I ‘hybrid’d’ it up by adding it to some espresso cardstock. The calendar itself is 5-1/2″x8-1/2″ (printed with 2 per 8-1/2×11 page). I added a few boho blossoms flowers with rhinestones in the middle.
And added a piece of cork to the bottom with three thumb tacks made pretty using the middle sized flower from the same punch. To the back I added magnet so that it could be stuck to a fridge – really quick & easy.
This was the project that we created at this months MDS club, where I show everyone other ways that they can use MDS for crafting. Seriously, MDS is a wonderful program and one of the best purchases I’ve made. I have created so many gifts with it, both hybrid and digital. It is incredibly versatile, once you get past the idea of just using it for digital scrapbooking – that’s a great way to use it – but it’s so much more than that.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Sherry
