Have you ever been stumped for a card idea? I find I hit a creative road block often, especially after having a few weeks of little to no crafting time. I hit one this past week as I sat down to create my sample for July’s set sampler swap. Yes you read that right – July – I’m a month behind! But that’s ok the group is very understanding and we all have months where things get away from us.
Anyway on to the road block… you know what works best for me to get through it? Finding a card that I love and CASing it (Copy And Share). The card above is what I created based on this beautiful swap I received from Eldonna Epp.
Isn’t this a stunning card?! I always love what Eldonna creates. Mine is not nearly as nice as hers but it was a starting point and that’s what I needed to get out of my rut. BTW I did add the sequins after I took the photo. My task for this set sampler swap was to use the Big Shot and the You’ve Got This stamp set. I found it a little bit tricky. The images in this set are rather large so I felt limited. And with my creative juices not flowing, it made it even more of a challenge. I think that’s why it took me so long to sit down and create. I must say I’m glad it’s done!
I encourage you to pick a card and CASE it! I’d love to see the starting point and what you end up with!
Have a creative day!
Sherry
