My husband and I left for the Mediterranean for two weeks on Monday. We are leaving the kids behind with my parents. Whenever we do that I always leave little treats for my mom to give the kids while we are gone. It’s just a small reminder that mom and dad love them. I shared one of those treats a couple weeks ago in this post. Today I thought I’d share the rest of them.
Many of these things are candy’s because they are a treat in our house and not something we usually have around. Fuzzy Peaches are Eathan’s favorite candy. I created these quick and easy tags using scraps that I had laying around and the Amazing Birthday stamp set for the greeting.
This one uses the same stamp set and the school house dsp. Both of which will be retiring at the end of the month!
Chocolate covered raisins are one of Jordyn’s favorites so those had to be included.
These little gift card holders were made with the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits and the Cherry on Top paper stack. These have Booster Juice gift cards in them so that they can stop for a treat on the way home from school on one of the days.
And this last one is a box made with the gift box punch board, some of the retired SAB paper and the Going Global stamp set.
Hopefully these little treats will make the kids think of us now and again while we were gone. Mom and Dad just got the most adorable puppy so she will be a huge source of entertainment while we are gone. They are so excited to have a puppy in the house!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day.
