Good morning! I thought I’d share my completed travel journal with you today. You can find a short video where I share the blank journal here. I loved documenting our trip like this and can see myself doing this again in the future.
The tag was a luggage tag we received in our package. I set one of them aside to use specifically for this. It’s just so cute!
I love the simplicity of the kraft cover with Thailand stamped on it. I’ll share a few pages of the journal here but if you’d like to see the whole thing, I filmed a video that I’ll share at the end.
I tried to incorporate a lot of little things from the trip. I included all of the little tags that were attached to the pillow gifts we received. And cut up portions of other little things that we received. I love including all these little keepsakes.
The other thing I loved was having all the pockets. And the Polaroid Zip Printer made it so easy to just print from my phone when I sat down to update the journal. And because they are sticker prints, no adhesive is necessary!
I also used a variety of cards and embellishments from a retired Project Life kit – I think it was the Memories in the Making kit. Inside this pocket I included our name badges which I attached together using a piece of ribbon from the original package we received.
I really enjoyed making these books and will be adding them to my Etsy shop this fall. Something for you to look for if you want to give this style of memory keeping a try.
Here’s the video if you would like to see more.
Have a creative day!
Sherry
