For memory keeping Monday, I’m sharing a fun travellers notebook spread created using the June Paper Pumpkin kit Box of Sunshine.
Everything I used apart from the white card stock base and the poppy parade ink was included in this months kit – even the yellow tissue paper I used to back my photo!
These photos were taken back in April. It was one of the first bright and sunny days where it was warm enough to sit outside. Jordyn and I were trying to take a selfie but the sun was so bright. We were either squinting or I wasn’t getting both of us in the photo. It was ridiculous. Just another failed attempt at a selfie photo. You can see another one here.
This kit is just so bright and cheery, the layout came together pretty easily. The ray layer on the left page and the yellow/red mottled layer on the right page are both card fronts that I cut up. Everything else is from the embellishments or die cut pieces in the kit.
After words I created this adorable little tag using some of the bits and pieces left on my desk. It might make a great embellishment for a page or even a card!
If you aren’t yet a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, and live in Canada, you can subscribe here. Every month I send my subscribers a tutorial with bonus ideas on what to do with the kit as a little thank you for subscribing. Subscribe before July 10th to get the July kit.
Have a creative day!
