I’ve been having lots of fun playing with the Serene Scenery paper stack. The patterns and texture in this paper pack is awesome. In addition to the ones I shared here the other day, I have a few more to share with you today.
This first one combines the pattern that has kind of a linen look to it with the flower from the Touches of Texture stamp set and a greeting from the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set. I added a flagged piece of the cucumber crush mini striped ribbon and stapled on a bow tied from linen thread. I don’t stamp on patterned paper very often but this paper pack is perfect for it.
This woodgrain paper is one of my favorites from the paper stack. I love it! I would love to see this sheet available in a 12×12 sheet. This card also uses the same two stamp sets.
Here’s a little tip when using markers with your photopolymer stamp sets, as I did for the greeting on this card.
- Ink the entire greeting with the lightest color – in this case pool party.
- Use a clean blender pen to remove the ink wherever you’d like a different color.
- Use a marker to reink that word – here I used the delightful dijon marker to ink the word fantastic.
- Give the stamp a huff and stamp it onto your paper.
I find that markers don’t seem to adhere to the photopolymer stamps like they do the rubber stamps so this tip helps.
I will leave you with one last card created using this same grouping of products.
Such a simple card but I love the combination of the realistic and spotted patterns!
Have a creative day!
