I’ve got a fun Taco Fiesta birthday card to share with you today. This was the card I created for my son-in-law for his birthday. This set really makes the cutest cards!
The card began with the strip of parakeet cardstock with the twine wrapped around it. A customer had asked how to get this look and I’d filmed a quick video showing how to get this look. It had been sitting on my desk for a couple days so I thought I should use it.
This was what I ended up with.
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Soft Suede: 2-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ and scrap for tag
- Parakeet Party: 2″ x 5-1/4″
- Basic White: scraps for stamping
- Parakeet Party Twine: enough to wrap around the cardstock three times and tie a bow
- Rustic Metallic Dots: x3
I even included a fun little saying inside the card:)

Such an adorable card!! I’m loving this new Taco Fiesta stamp set. Question — from which set(s) did you get the sentiments “wishing you a” and “birthday” used in the interior of the card? Thanks and keep it crafty!

It is an adorable stamp set! I don’t remember where I got the ‘wishing you’ from but I was looking through my sets and here are a few that would work… Pansy Patch, Peaceful Moments, Inspired Thoughts and Charming Sentiments. They all have a greeting that starts with ‘wishing you…’. The ‘birthday’ was from Something Fancy. Hope this helps:)
