Good morning! Today I have another project to share using the Decor Elements vinyl sheets. I apologize for the photos, I probably should have taken the candy out of the jars before taking them. The jars are just some that I had on hand but thought they needed a little somethin’ somethin’ to spruce them up.
The letters were done using the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet set (115951). This is a medium sizzlit die and it is recommended that you cut only one layer of cardstock or dsp and not much of anything else. However, the vinyl is no thicker than our cardstock so it will cut through nicely! I also added a little accent with our corduroy buttons (summer sun 114343 and pumpkin pie 114342). I’m really sad to see these retire, I love the look of them. And then tied some retired ribbon around the jar.
For the treats jar, I used the Beautiful Wings embosslit (118138) to cut out some butterflies to use as accents.
This is a view of the top. The two largest butterflies were cut from the Beautiful Butterflies die (114507) and vinyl sheets in Taken with Teal and Rose Red. The smallest butterflies were from the Beautiful Wings embosslit. Don’t you just love the look of layered butterflies!?Thanks for stopping by today!
