I’ve got a fun Paper Pumpkin alternate using this months Summer Nights kit. There are so many things that I love about Paper Pumpkin – one of them is that it’s a surprise. We do get peeks into the theme each month and hints of what’s inside but we don’t see the full kit until it is delivered. I love that!
However, I know that is one of the things that holds some people back. But it doesn’t need to! There are so many great ideas for alternates online that you can always find something that you do like. I personally love all the bits and pieces included in the kits. They are so fun to play with.
For this card I cut apart one of the bags and used it as a stencil for the fireworks. I LOVE how it looks – what a fun, simple background! I added in the glitter enamel dots, the denim ribbon and the label shape. The background is one of the post cards from the kit but you could also use the Summer Nights card base add ons.
Don’t miss out on next months Paper Pumpkin that focuses on celebrating and appreciating the everyday heroes in our lives.
Lately, it’s become especially clear who the everyday heroes are—they’ve always surrounded us! Teachers, doctors, hairdressers, nurses, delivery workers, cashiers, and even our friends, kids, and family members go above and beyond to enrich our lives. These people are truly the world’s greatest at what they do!
The cards included in the August kit are specifically designed for celebrating life’s champions!
I will be back on my Facebook page for a live video scrapbooking with the Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin kit.
Have a creative day!
