Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I certainly did. I was lucky enough to be invited to a crop with several other demonstrators in the We CAN Stamp group. It was so much fun. I came away with a ton of ideas for upcoming classes, lots of inspiration, and definitely lots of samples for my blog! I will share those with you over the course of the month but this week, I wanted to focus on the Strength & Hope stamp set and digital kit.
This card is a sympathy card sent to me by Christy Harsh. It is hard to tell from the photo, but it’s actually a hybrid card (combination of both digital and traditional supplies). She used the Strength & Hope digital kit to create the main image, then printed it, matted it on a textured piece of vanilla, then on to a card and added a touch of satin ribbon. Isn’t it beautiful?!
Here are a few details on the campaign:
As part of our Making a Difference program, Stampin’ Up! is proud to partner with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) in the Strength & Hope Campaign. From May 1-August 31, 2011, Stampin’ Up! will donate $2* from the sale of each Strength & Hope Set and Digital Kit to BCRF.
This is a gorgeous set that can be used for so many different occasions, as you will see over the course of this week.
- Strength & Hope Wood-Mount (118100) – $21.95
- Strength & Hope Clear-Mount (123660) – $16.95
- Force & Espoir (French) – WM (123665) $21.95/CM (123667) $16.95
This is the Strength & Hope Digital Kit (item 124475) that Christy used to create her card. It includes a four-piece stamp brush set, 12 Designer Series Papers, and 10 embellishment pieces for $12.50.
Christy also created this t-shirt using the digital kit. I’m sorry the photo isn’t the best. It was taken during our share night on the cruise and the lighting wasn’t the best. These are super simple to create – you could create one for each day of the week, using your favorite stamp sets! All you have to do is create the design you want in My Digital Studio and then print it onto an iron on transfer sheet which you can pick up at a local stationary store. Before you iron it on, simply trim around the images so you don’t have a lot of excess around the edges. Then follow the instructions that come with the iron on sheets. It’s as easy as that!
I hope these projects and this fabulous campaign inspire you to spend a bit of time creating this week! Contact me today to order this beautiful set and support BCRF as they work find a cure for breast cancer! Or shop now in my Online Store.
I will be back tomorrow with another sample, as well as the details on this months scrapbook kit.
