Today I’m sharing a fun stitched triangle shaker card with you today. It has kind of a modern/fall feel to it. It’s very different from my usual style and I love it!
I LOVE the stitched triangles, well let’s face it, I love anything stitched. They are so fun to use to create patterns or backgrounds on your cards or layouts. You can see how I used them on a fun background on a layout here.
My shaker options are pretty limited right now and I really wanted to create a thank you card with a bit of a fall theme. The woven threads sequins are all in colours so I chose the three most ‘fallish’ colours – pretty peacock, terracotta tile and seaside spray. The two blues aren’t really fall colours but they worked well with the terracotta.
You could easily replace the leaves I used as an accent with a flower, or anything else really, and get a card you could use anytime. The colour scheme really isn’t fall at all.
In the video below I share a tip on how to get the sequins to spread out when the card is standing. If you check out the last two photos I shared, you’ll see the difference.
