Scrapbooking tip #13 is another great one if you are struggling with where to start. Try picking a theme and starting with that. Themes are always fun. It can be a birthday, Christmas, travel, Halloween – really anything.
Themes always have such great patterned papers and fun embellishments. They are a great starting point. Your task today is to pick a theme, find some photos that fit that theme and then choose some supplies that fit the theme.
Todays Inspiration
The theme that I chose for today is fall or thanksgiving. I received my monthly Paper Pumpkin kit a couple days ago and was excited to play with it. Fall is one of my favourite themes. I love the warm colours, the crunching of leaves, the coziness of a warm sweater – I just love it all.
I looked through my photos to see if I could find some fall or thanksgiving themed photos but I couldn’t find any that hadn’t already been documented. So I decided to create a layout for this years thanksgiving photos.
I created this layout on yesterday’s Facebook live. If you’d like to watch how it came together, you can check out the replay below.
I love our monthly Paper Pumpkin kits. If you aren’t familiar with them they are a monthly creative subscription box. Every month you get a box full of goodies to craft with. They give you all the supplies to complete x number of projects but you have the freedom to what you want with them.
Want to give it a try? You can subscribe here.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a creative day.
