I have been having so much fun creating with this Dandelion Wishes stamp set. It is a gorgeous set and when a set is this pretty it’s really not that difficult to create beautiful cards! This week I released my current class in the mail, which uses the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. If you missed it you can find all the details here. I love how these projects turned out – they are bright and cheerful – perfect for summer.
I decided to continue creating with this stamp set for today’s Facebook Live (link to be posted after it gets downloaded). If you are visiting my blog around 11am MST, be sure to join us live on Facebook to see how these two cards come together.
I chose to use the same basic supplies that are needed to complete the Dandelion Wishes class in the mail which are the stamp set; mango melody and daffodil delight inks, VersaMark and white embossing powder.
For this first card I embossed the dandelions in white and then sponged the centers with Mango Melody ink. The greeting was stamped in mango and then added to a scrap of mango cardstock with a scrap of the polka dot ribbon.
This second one is a note card. I did some sponging to create a faux torn edge and then stamped the little dandelion sprigs. I clustered together some ribbon, gold sequins and held them together with a piece of bakers twine. Such a simple card but I love it.
Here’s the recording of the Facebook Live. Be sure to share and comment on the video (sharing and commenting on YouTube counts!) by June 28th to be entered to win a package of 5 handmade cards.
If you place an order of $50 (or more) with me using the host code below between June 22nd and June 28th, I will send you the consumable supplies to create 2 of each of these cards in the mail along with your thank you card.
And don’t forget about the Dandelion Wishes class in the mail. You can find all the details here.
Hope you have a creative day!
