Today I’m sharing part 2 of the snow day scrapbooking workshop kit. If you missed part 1, you can find it here. I ended up straying a bit from the layout in the instructions because my photos were oriented differently than those suggested. This was something I purposefully did to share how you can easily make adjustments to make these kits work for you.
In the video below I share some tips on making adjustments and walk you through creating another one of the three 2-page spreads.
I also made a few more adjustments like replacing the candy cane pattern paper with the poppy parade card stock. I LOVE the pop of red. It really helps make the photos stand out.
The other thing you’ll notice is that I added twine and some little snowflakes. If you’re a paper crafter, you likely have additional products in your stash that you could easily use to step up your layouts if that’s something that appeals to you. I did just that with some retired red/white baker’s twine and some of the loose snowflakes that are in the mini. These are simple additions but add so much to the layout and makes it feel more like my own.
Until next time,
