Hello Friday! I’m so excited that it’s Friday – I’m so looking forward to this weekend! And you know what made today even better than just knowing it’s the last day of the week – I only had to make one lunch! I know that seems silly but that’s really one thing I just don’t enjoy doing – making lunches. My kids are not fussy eaters for most meals but when it comes to school lunches they seem to always complain about them. Oh well, one month done, just nine more to go… sigh.
Anyway on to today’s project. This beautiful card was a swap I received from Sue Patrysk. It’s hard to tell from the photo but she embossed the ‘thanks’ from Seasonally Scattered with gold embossing powder and then did a watercolor wash over top with an aqua painter and coastal cabana ink. So pretty!
We are actually doing this technique at stamp club this month (but a different card). If you’d like to join us and check out what stamp club is all about, let me know. We meet next Wednesday and Thursday (Oct. 8th and 9th). If you are out of town, there are virtual options, just ask me for details.
Have a creative day!
Sherry
