Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop – November 2021

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global November 2021 blog hop. This months theme is ‘Scrap Lift’. I love this theme because there are so many talented scrapbookers out there that it’s easy to find inspiration.

I chose this beautiful layout by Laura Alberts to scrap lift. I was really drawn to the idea of using greetings to create a background.

The Details…

The first thing I did was look through my holiday stamp sets for greetings I wanted to use. I ended up choosing greetings from the following sets:

• Holly Jolly Wishes
• Heartfelt Wishes
• Christmas to Remember

Then I just went to town and stamped the background.

I added a few of the images from the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set as well. Then I stacked a few scraps from the Gingerbread & Peppermint dsp pack and layered them behind what will be my photo mat.

Once I added the photo mat, I added some of the snowflakes die cut from the dsp and then finished it off with some acrylic shapes. The final touch was to mat the layout onto some of our red velvet paper.
