Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global March 2021 blog hop. This month our inspiration comes from a mood board. I think I’ve only ever done anything with a mood board once before so it was something different for me and I loved it.
Thankfully there were some blues in there to help inspire me – purple is not really a favourite of mine. However, in the end, my layout turned out more purple than blue! Surprise surprise!
This layout is another one for last years #52favorites travellers notebook. I’m still plugging my way through it. I think my favourite part is the background I created.
I used the paper packaging technique with some seaside spray ink and a bit of gorgeous grape for splattering. I LOVE how it looks.
After the background was dry I added my butterflies cut from the Hydrangea Hill dsp. I felt like they needed a little something to make them pop so I took my black Sharpie pen and went around the edges. It was just what they needed.
Thanks so much for visiting! Head on over to Sharon’s blog to see what she created. Enjoy hopping along to see the beautiful projects that everyone else created!
Have a creative day!

I love your background design Sherry! Looks like it was a lot of fun too. Your butterflies were the perfect touch and you must have a steady hand to line them so well!

Wow, I’m impressed how well you can hand draw the butterfly outlines!! And the background colour and subtlety is glorious!! What a great page, and the beautiful soft colours are super sweet.
