Good morning! I hope you have had a great start to the weekend!
Today I have a layout to share with you using the Designer Type photopolymer stamp set. I am loving this set – I think it’s my favorite at the moment. I’ve been using it for everything!
To create the background I used the speech bubble and repeatedly stamped it down the right side of the page. Then I stamped the same image onto a scrap piece of cardstock and cut out the centre of the speech bubble. If you place what’s left after cutting it out over top of the bubbles stamped on your page, you can stamp over top to fill in the bubble. So that’s what I did – I used the word image from the Daring Adventure set and stamped it in white inside a few random bubbles. Doesn’t it look cool?!
Here’s a closer look…
I also used the banner from the Designer Type stamp set – but used it as a border rather than as a banner. The lovely little accents are the cupcake liners that come in the pop up posies kit (from the Spring Catalogue). I love that they don’t look too feminine when you snip them – perfect for a boy layout!
Thanks for stopping by!
Sherry
