For todays slimline Saturday post, I’m sharing a Poinsettia Petals Christmas slimline card. Slimline Saturdays started in September and were only meant to last for the month. However, based on feedback and how much I’ve been enjoying creating this style of card, I decided to keep it going indefinitely.
If you are unfamiliar with slimline cards, check out my What are Slimline Cards video. On my Youtube channel you’ll also find a Slimline card playlist with all of the slimline cards I’ve created so far.
This card really highlights the Poinsettia Place dsp which is such a beautiful patterned paper and on sale at the moment! I cut the poinsettia’s right from the patterned paper. The only thing that was stamped is the greeting. The rest is all patterned paper.
Poinsettia Place DSP (153487) Regular $15.75 Sale $13.39
Measurements:
- Old Olive: 7″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 3 1/2″

If you’d like to see how quickly this card comes together, I’ve filmed a video for you.
I’m normally not a poinsettia fan. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased any of Stampin’ Up!’s poinsettia sets they’ve released in all 16 years I’ve been a demo. But there’s something about this years that I just love. I’ve been crafting with it a lot lately so have lots to share with you in the weeks to come.
Have a creative weekend!
