Pet Sympathy Card

Today’s project – a pet sympathy card – isn’t one that I make often but I do like to have a couple on hand for when the need arises. Stampin’ Up!® has the CUTEST set right now called Pet Love that make it easy to create some fun pet themed projects. I picked it up so that I’d have it to scrapbook photos of my two grand puppies.

I basically created the same card for the loss of a dog and cat – the only difference is one has a bone and the other has fish bones. You could easily recreate this card using a different colour combination depending on whether the pet was female or male.

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
• Basic Gray: 3-3/4″ x 5″
• Gray Granite: 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″
• Basic White: 2″ x 3-1/2″ die cut with the smallest branching out rectangle
• Autumn Toile DSP: 2″ x 3-1/2″
• Basic Beige: 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″
• White Twine: 8″
