Pennant Parade Christmas Card & Gift with Online Order

I know it’s a little early for Christmas cards, but I think the earlier you start the better.  This card was created using the Pennant Parade stamp set.  I know I’ve said it before but I love the versatility of this stamp set!!!

This would be a great option to mass produce for Christmas.  It’s a quick and easy card.  Here’s a quick run down on how to create this card:

1. Card base is a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of crumb cake, scored at 4-1/4″ but then with about 1/2″ trimmed from one end.
2. Sponge around the edges using early espresso ink.
3. Using the lace ribbon border punch, punch a 5-1/2″ strip of cherry cobbler cardstock.
4. Adhere the punched strip in behind the shorter end of the card base, being sure that it lines up with the back when it’s closed.
5. Wrap cherry cobbler seam binding around the bottom of the card and tie a knot.
6. Cut a 3″x4-3/4″ piece of whisper white cardstock and stamp the desired pennant 5 times using always artichoke ink.  Tip:  Make sure that you stagger the height of the tree.
7. Stamp the pot for each of the trees using early espresso ink.
8. Sponge around the edges using early espresso ink.
9. Cut a 3-1/4″x5″ piece of cherry cobbler cardstock, sponge around the edges using the early espresso ink.
10. Mat this onto the white cardstock.
11. Attach to the card front and stamp desired greeting on the inside of the card.
