One of the great things about attending Stampin’ Up! events is the opportunity to swap cards with other demonstrators. It is so nice to get ideas and samples in different styles and stamp sets. So this year I managed to get 50 swaps done, with the help of my mom the night before we left:)
I think it’s easy to look at an outline image (like the thanks) and think oh that needs to be coloured in – so I wanted to design a card where it didn’t need to be coloured in but still look good. I think I accomplished that. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but I added a bit of dazzling details to the little stars to add just a bit of bling. This card is quick and easy to reproduce and the greeting can easily be switched out for a birthday card. Not only that but what a great way to use up scraps of patterned paper! The banner was created using the 1″ circle punch and then just cut in half! So simple!
