Today I’m sharing my Our Little Fish scrapbook layout. I created this over the weekend as I worked on completing some of the random layouts in unfinished albums.
There are so many great products available right now that you can use to document any of your water themed photos – swimming lessons, pool, beach, holiday etc.
I decided to use the Seascape bundle that is on sale for 20% off right now with the new Waves of the Ocean DSP to document these photos of my daughter at swimming lessons back in 2004. There are lots of great bundles on sale at the moment, you can see them all here.
This layout is for a pocket page. It’s kind of an odd configuration. It was one that came in a Stampin’ Up! mixed pack many years ago. It has one 6″ x 8″ pocket and four horizontal 4″ x 6″ pockets. This layout came together so quickly because it was just like making a larger sized card.
The Details…
- The seahorse is die cut from the rainbow glimmer paper.
- I used my blending brush and some coastal cabana ink to add a bit of colour to the white background.
- The water was done by tearing the long edge of two 2″ x 6″ pieces of the Waves of the Ocean dsp.
- Some of the seaweed was stamped on the background and others were cut out and tucked in the front layer of the ‘water’.
I love how it all came together and am happy to be able to check off another layout as complete, from my list.
Have you checked out the Waves of Inspiration class to go?
